Califer Hill Viewpoint

A 5 minute drive from Forres is Califer Hill Viewpoint, the views across the Moray Firth are breathtaking a great place for a picnic on a sunny summers day.

Cluny Hill & Nelsons Tower Viewpoint

Nelsons Tower sit to the eastern end of Forres high street ontop of Cluny Hill, it makes for a nice walk through Grant Park then up the hill through the woods to the tower, the climb to the top of the tower is well worth the view, usually, the tower is open to visitors when the flag ontop can be seen flying - but, this rule is also dependent on the weather conditions.
